Softball Recap: Mineola Comes Up Short

Mineola had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 3-0 to the Miller Place Panthers on Thursday.

The victory was the fifth in a row for Miller Place, bringing their record up to 18-2.

Mineola does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Miller Place, they will challenge Marlboro Central on Sunday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Panthers 1.4, the Dukes 1.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.
