Millburn had lost four games straight , but after bumping their record up to 4-6 on Tuesday that streak is in the rearview. They blew past the Glen Rock Panthers 9-1. The Millers not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since May 20, 2024 (when they won 10-0).
Charlie Wall tossed a big game, tossing 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off seven hits.
On the hitting side, Millburn got a big performance out of Peter Lawrence, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Quinn Conn, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI.
As for Glen Rock, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-2. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.
On Glen Rock's side, they saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wyatt Morrissey, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.
Looking ahead, Millburn will head out on the road to square off against Columbia at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Millers are facing the Cougars at the right time seeing as the Cougars are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Glen Rock, they will host Dwight-Englewood at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bulldogs have averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season.
