Softball Recap: Viborg/Hurley Comes Up Short

Viborg/Hurley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 16-1 to the Gayville-Volin Raiders. The game marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Viborg/Hurley's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Gayville-Volin, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-3.

Gayville-Volin wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 18-3 victory against Chamberlain on the 3rd. Hopefully Viborg/Hurley paid attention to the Raiders' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Raiders at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
