Edison and Weston Ranch are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2015, but not for long. The Vikings will host the Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Edison had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Bear Creek on Monday. The Vikings blew past the Bruins 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Bruins: they've now won four in a row.

While Edison won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 28-26, 25-16.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Weston Ranch, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Franklin on Monday. The Cougars not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 10th (when they won 3-0).

Weston Ranch walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-21, 25-17.

Weston Ranch's victory bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Edison, their win bumped their record up to 16-7.

Everything went Edison's way against Weston Ranch when the teams last played back in September, as Edison made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Cougars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
