On Friday, Bellevue faced Mount Si in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Bellevue Wolverines walked away with a 55-44 win over the Mount Si Wildcats. The victory was nothing new for the Wolverines as they're now sitting on seven straight.

Mount Si lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jake Bonnofsky, who posted 15 points. Bonnofsky is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for four straight games. Drenden Knaevelsrud was another key player, going 5 for 7 on his way to 10 points and seven boards.

Bellevue's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-2. As for Mount Si, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-4.

Bellevue didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 71-68 defeat against West Valley on the 20th. Mount Si has also already played their next contest, a 74-41 loss against Tualatin on the 20th.
