Baseball Recap: Mcclain's Win Ends Six-Game Losing Streak on the Road

McClain and Wilmington pushed the score to 22-1 the last time they played Wilmington, but on Friday defenses reigned supreme. The Tigers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Hurricane. This was payback for the Tigers, who suffered a 22-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

McClain's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Kolton Lamb, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one run. Another was Hudson Lovett, who got on base in both of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
