Recap: Clark Fork Wampus Cats vs. Garden Valley Wolverines

The Clark Fork Wampus Cats pushed their score all the way to 36 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They received a tough blow as they fell 53-36 to Garden Valley.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Garden Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Trevor Corn, who rushed for 222 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.7 yards per carry. Corn is on a roll when it comes to solo tackles, as he's now made six or more in the last nine games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Tacoma Kelly, who rushed for 91 yards and two touchdowns.

Clark Fork's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Garden Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.

Clark Fork does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Garden Valley is on the road again on Friday and play against Camas County at 3:30 p.m. on November 3rd. One thing working in Camas County's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last five contests.
