Volleyball Recap: Franklin Central Falls Short Against Ranked Carmel

Franklin Central faced Carmel in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Flashes fell just short of the Greyhounds by a score of 2-1. The Flashes were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Greyhounds earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Franklin Central is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 19-9. As for Carmel, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 13-11-1.

Franklin Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Homestead on the 10th. As for Carmel, they will challenge Westfield at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
