Lakeside extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Quentin Mosby. The Lions came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 61-56 W against the Nathan Hale Raiders for which the team can thank Mosby, who shot 44% from the field to rack up 24 points along with five assists and five boards. His big performance that evening made it 14 games in a row in which he has scored at least 21 points.

Nathan Hale's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Michael Coleman-Dorsey, who posted 18 points, and Shurem Hussein, who earned 16 points. Another player making a difference was Thomas Couch, who put up eight points.

Lakeside now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Nathan Hale, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.

Lakeside will head out to challenge Chief Sealth at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions will be up against the Seahawks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 66.77 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Nathan Hale, they will challenge Garfield at 11:30 a.m. on Monday. The Raiders will need to watch out since the Bulldogs have now posted at least 55 points in their last seven matchups.
