Basketball Recap: West Mesquite Takes a Loss

After flying high against Ferris on Friday, West Mesquite came back down to earth. The Wranglers received a blow on Tuesday as they fell 50-34 to the Mesquite Skeeters. The defeat continues a trend for the Wranglers in their meetings with the Skeeters: they've now lost seven in a row.

West Mesquite's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Mesquite, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.

Looking ahead, West Mesquite will head out to challenge Royse City at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Mesquite, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Roosevelt at 12:30 p.m.
