Soccer Game Preview: St. Johns vs. Eaton Rapids

The St. Johns Redwings will head out to take on the Eaton Rapids Greyhounds at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.

Last Wednesday, St. Johns and Haslett finished up their matchup with a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, Eaton Rapids kept a clean sheet against Waverly on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Warriors. Kennedie Crow was a massive factor in the win as she booted in five goals all by herself.

The victory made it two in a row for Eaton Rapids and bumps their season record up to 2-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those two contests. St. Johns' draw makes their record 1-1-2 this season.

St. Johns took their victory against Eaton Rapids when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Redwings repeat their success, or do the Greyhounds have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
