It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Bolles had no problem doing just that on Friday. They walked away with a 57-50 win over the Somerset Academy - Canyons Cougars. The victory was familiar territory for the Bulldogs, who have now won 15 matchups in a row.

Bolles' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Abby Knauff, who went 5-for-12 to rack up 16 points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Terrell McCoy, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 19 boards.

Bolles smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 11 consecutive games.

Somerset Academy - Canyons' defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Delanie Doty, who shot 47% from the field on her way to 19 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals. Doty is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Alana Pinnock, who posted 13 points along with eight boards and five assists.

Bolles' record now sits at 25-5. As for Somerset Academy - Canyons, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 20-8 record.

Bolles has already played their next contest, a 64-54 defeat against Cardinal Mooney on the 1st. Somerset Academy - Canyons does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
