There's no place like home for Stephenson, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They skirted past the Stone Mountain Pirates 59-57. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Jaguars have posted since February 6, 2024.

Stephenson's win ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-13. As for Stone Mountain, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.

Stephenson and Stone Mountain could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. Stephenson (ranked 358th) will meet Luella (ranked 108th) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Stone Mountain will square off against Riverdale at 6:00 p.m. on Friday down 215 places (395 vs. 180).
