Basketball Recap: Greenfield Comes Up Short

Greenfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 72-66 heartbreaker at the hands of the Ravenscroft Ravens. The Knights were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Ravens earlier this season, when they won 77-65.

Greenfield's record now sits at 12-7. As for Ravenscroft, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.

Greenfield will square off against Coastal Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. The timing isn't great for Coastal Christian: they have been struggling with four straight losses at home, while Greenfield has snatched up four consecutive wins on the road dating back to last season. Ravenscroft and Davidson Day will round out the year against one another at at 12:00 p.m. on Monday.
