Shaker Heights better keep an eye on Reginald Smith, Jr.. He was instrumental in Brush's win, dropping a double-double with 18 points and 17 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Cody Smith-Green, who posted nine points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.

The victory got Brush back to even at 1-1. As for Shaker Heights, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
