Basketball Recap: Dickson County Snags Tenth Win in Last 12 Games

Dickson County won the last time they faced Kenwood and things went their way on Monday too. The Dickson County Cougars came out on top against the Kenwood Knights by a score of 41-31.

Dickson County's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Keely Webb, who posted 17 points and three steals. The contest was Webb's fifth in a row with at least 16 points. Coralee Grove was another key player, going 5-for-7 on her way to 11 points and seven rebounds.

Dickson County is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-12 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.2 points over those games. Kenwood's defeat dropped their record down to 8-18.

Dickson County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 45-35 loss against Henry County on the 26th. Kenwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
