Basketball Game Preview: Marshfield Rams vs. Quincy Presidents

The Marshfield Rams will take on the Quincy Presidents at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Marshfield's favor as the squad sits on 11 straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Quincy has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road also dating back to last season.

Last Tuesday, everything came up roses for Marshfield against Plymouth North as the team secured a 73-43 win. The Rams have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Quincy was beaten by Pembroke 82-42 on Tuesday.

Marshfield's victory bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Quincy, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-10.

Marshfield beat Quincy 63-56 in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Will Marshfield repeat their success, or does Quincy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
