Volleyball Recap: Providence Cristo Rey Comes Up Short

Providence Cristo Rey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Heritage Christian Eagles, falling 3-0.

Providence Cristo Rey's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Heritage Christian, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 3-7 record.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Providence Cristo Rey is set to face off against their familiar foe Indianapolis Shortridge at 5:30 p.m. on May 1. Meanwhile, Heritage Christian will take on rival Guerin Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on May 1.
