Soccer Game Preview: Elgin vs. Noble

Elgin hasn't had much luck against Noble recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. Elgin will welcome Noble at 6:00 p.m. This will be Elgin's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.

Elgin managed to keep up with Weatherford until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Elgin came up short against Weatherford, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Noble, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. Everything went their way against Verdigris on Saturday as Noble made off with a 7-2 victory. The result was nothing new for Noble, who have now won five games by three goals or more so far this season.

Noble's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 23 goals over those four matchups. As for Elgin, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
