La Vernia's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They came out on top against Jones by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bears.

The win got them back to even at 3-3-2.

As for Pearsall, they've got a clean slate this season. Last year, they finished 1-14-1.
