Baseball Recap: Lincoln Comes Up Short

On Monday, the Lincoln Mustangs came up short against the Woodside Wildcats and fell 6-2.

Lincoln saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Everett Carvalho, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Xavier Malizia also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Woodside, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Lincoln didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 9-1 defeat against San Mateo on the 5th. As for Woodside, they will welcome Sequoia at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
