Softball Recap: Perry County Central Commodores vs. Estill County Engineers
Perry County Central won the last time they faced Estill County and things went their way on Monday too. The Commodores came out on top against the Engineers by a score of 6-2. Winning may never get old, but the Commodores sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Jossie Mullins spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on eight hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Alyssa Dixon was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Mikayla Shepherd, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Perry County Central's win bumped their record up to 21-10. As for Estill County, they moved to 21-10 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
