Soccer Game Preview: Corner Canyon vs. Hillcrest

The Corner Canyon Chargers will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against the Hillcrest Huskies at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Corner Canyon's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Salt Lake Academy 1-0. Corner Canyon wouldn't have won without Eli Grow, who scored the game-winner.

Meanwhile, Hillcrest fell victim to Olympus and their airtight defense on Friday. They lost 3-0 to the Titans. Hillcrest haven't had much luck with Olympus recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Hillcrest's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Corner Canyon, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
