Soccer Recap: Carolina Friends Comes Up Short

Carolina Friends came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Burlington Christian Academy Royals, falling 5-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Carolina Friends were already down 4-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Belle Bolick, which was the first she's scored this season.

Carolina Friends now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Burlington Christian Academy, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carolina Friends will host Emerson Waldorf at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Burlington Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Alamance Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
