Volleyball Recap: Johnston Falls Short Against Ranked Westerly

Johnston faced Westerly in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Bulldogs. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Panthers have suffered since April 22nd.

This is the second loss in a row for Johnston and nudges their season record down to 9-7. As for Westerly, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-4.

Looking ahead, Johnston will venture away from home to square off against Central at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Westerly, they will host Chariho at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
