Baseball Game Preview: Tri-County RVT Cougars vs. Norfolk County Agricultural Rams

Tri-County RVT is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Norfolk County Agricultural a 14-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Tri-County RVT Cougars will welcome the Norfolk County Agricultural Rams at 3:30 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Last Wednesday, Tri-County RVT came up short against Bristol-Plymouth RVT and fell 5-2.

Noah Roche put in work no matter where he played. He tossed six innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

In other batting news, Dylan Maw made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run.

Meanwhile, Norfolk County Agricultural fell victim to Old Colony RVT and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Cougars, falling 10-0.

Tri-County RVT's loss dropped their record down to 6-6-1. As for Norfolk County Agricultural, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-12.

Tri-County RVT took their victory against Norfolk County Agricultural in their previous matchup back in April by a conclusive 14-3 score. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
