Softball Recap: Canfield Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Canfield can now relate to. They fell just short of the Aurora Greenmen by a score of 8-6 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Cardinals have suffered since April 27, 2024.

Canfield's loss dropped their record down to 21-5-1. As for Aurora, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 26-2.

As of now, neither Canfield nor the Greenmen have any future games scheduled.
