Basketball Recap: Plenty Coups Finds Playoff Glory Versus Reed Point/Rapelje

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Plenty Coups had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 78-36 win over the Reed Point/Rapelje Renegades. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 70-33 win two weeks ago.

Reed Point/Rapelje's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ben Broyles, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 11 boards. What's more, Broyles also posted a 57% field goal percentage, which is the highest he's achieved since back in February of 2024. Landen Bryant was another key player, putting up six points and three steals.

Plenty Coups is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.5 points over those games. Reed Point/Rapelje is on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.

Plenty Coups does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Reed Point/Rapelje, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 42-37 loss against Roberts on the 1st.
