Volleyball Recap: Winslow Comes Up Short

Winslow's tournament run continued when they took on ALA - Ironwood on Saturday. The Bulldogs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors.

Allison Holiday paced Winslow's offense, picking up four kills. Holiday got some help from Keira Barton and her ten assists. Ariana Torres controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Winslow has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-7-1 record this season. As for ALA - Ironwood, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-7.

Winslow has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Rio Rico on the 13th. As for ALA - Ironwood, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Crismon on the 13th.
