Softball Recap: Whitehall Comes Up Short

Whitehall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 11-3 to the Cochrane-Fountain City Pirates. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pirates apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2025.

Whitehall saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison Herman, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Whitehall's record now sits at 1-7. As for Cochrane-Fountain City, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Coincidentally, Whitehall and Cochrane-Fountain City will both be playing Osseo-Fairchild the next time they take the field. The Pirates will host the Thunder at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Vikings will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
