Softball Recap: Wagner Takes a Loss

Wagner was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 11-0 to the Pieper Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-1 back in February.

Wagner's record now sits at 4-14. As for Pieper, their victory bumped their record up to 7-8.

Looking ahead, Wagner will face off against New Braunfels at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Wagner's pitchers better be ready for this one: New Braunfels has averaged an impressive 8.1 runs per game this season. As for Pieper, they will take on Tivy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
