Basketball Recap: Hubbard Comes Up Short

Hubbard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They were beaten by the Mildred Eagles 67-16. The Jaguars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-4.

Hubbard's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Mildred, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-10 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Hubbard is set to take on their familiar foe Kerens at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Mildred will face off against rival Italy at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
