Football Recap: Roosevelt Comes Up Short

Roosevelt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 55-14 defeat at the hands of the Brandon Valley Lynx. While losing is never fun, the Rough Riders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Dakota football rankings (they are ranked 28th, while the Lynx are ranked second).

Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Brandon Valley, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Roosevelt will face off against Brookings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Brandon Valley, they will head out to face off against Rapid City Central at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
