Basketball Recap: Bigfork Comes Up Short

Bigfork was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Blackduck Drakes, falling 73-16. The Huskies lost against the Drakes in their previous head to head back in December of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 47-45 score last time.

Bigfork's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Blackduck, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Bigfork will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Cherry at 10:00 a.m. on the 29th. Blackduck will take on Win-E-Mac in a holiday battle at 12:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
