Alyssa Blaney turned in yet another pitching appearance with more than eight strikeouts on Thursday. She struck out nine batters over 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). She was dominant the last time she took on St. Charles back in May of 2024, so they probably should've seen this coming.

Blaney and North Point will be playing in front of their home fans against Leonardtown at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 55 places lower in Maryland), but they're not letting that get them down.
