Softball Recap: Coosa Eagles vs. Rome Wolves
Coosa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 17-1 to the Rome Wolves. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Eagles couldn't push the score so high this time.
Coosa saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kierra Bain, who went 1-for-1 with an RBI.
Coosa's loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Rome, their victory bumped their record up to 6-15.
Coosa will face off against Armuchee at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rome, they will challenge East Paulding at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. East Paulding will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Rome surely won't give up without a fight.
