Father McGivney Catholic had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They put the hurt on the Mulberry Grove Aces with a sharp 70-45 win on Monday. For the Griffins, this counts as revenge for the 52-43 victory the Aces walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2024.

Father McGivney Catholic can attribute much of their success to Owen Kolesa, who went 7-for-16 en route to 18 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Landon Hall, who posted eight points and three steals.
