Volleyball Recap: Margaretta's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Margaretta came into Tuesday's match having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Port Clinton Redskins on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Polar Bears not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 4th (when they won 3-0).

Margaretta was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-21, 25-15.

Leading Margaretta to victory were Ella Limberios and Claire Conner. Limberios had ten digs and three aces, while Conner had 13 digs and one assist. Limberios is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 11 games she's played.

They weren't the only good servers: Margaretta was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. They are 4-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Margaretta's record now sits at 6-12. As for Port Clinton, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14.

Margaretta wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Vermilion on the 2nd. As for Port Clinton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Willard on the 2nd.
