Football Recap: Talawanda Beats Eaton for Their Third Straight Win

Talawanda extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Lance Cantrell. The Brave were the clear victors by a 45-20 margin over the Eaton Eagles on Friday for which the team can thank Cantrell, who rushed for 313 yards and four scores while picking up 12.5 yards per carry. Cantrell is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 127 every time he's taken the field this season.

Talawanda's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Eaton, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, Talawanda will face off against Franklin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Eaton, they will challenge Oakwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Lumberjacks have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
