Basketball Recap: Gates Chili Takes a Loss

Gates Chili lost against Spencerport back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Gates Chili Spartans took a 40-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spencerport Rangers.

Gates Chili's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Spencerport, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-9.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Canandaigua Academy the next time they take the court. Spencerport will host Canandaigua Academy at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while Gates Chili will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on February 14th.
