Softball Recap: Brevard Comes Up Short

After flying high against Smoky Mountain on Friday, Brevard came back down to earth. The Blue Devils came up short against the West Henderson Falcons on Monday, falling 9-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Blue Devils were not able to get on the board.

Brevard's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for West Henderson, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-3.

Brevard has already played their next game, a 12-0 victory against East Henderson on the 14th. As for West Henderson, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 17-5 win against Smoky Mountain on the 14th.
