While Oregon's win against Verona wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Wildcats 1-0. Give Oregon's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Oregon is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those six contests. As for Verona, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Oregon will be playing in front of their home fans against Waunakee at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Waunakee will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Oregon surely won't give up without a fight. As for Verona, they are taking a road trip to take on Sun Prairie West at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Verona will need to watch out since Sun Prairie West have now posted at least four goals in their last three games.
