Rimbey Came Up Big in Southwestern's 35-33 Loss

Starting off the list is Southwestern's Blake Rimbey, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Rimbey rushed for 131 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 165 yards and two touchdowns while completing 78.6% of his passes. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 74 yards.

Southwestern is on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6. Rimbey and Southwestern will look to defend their home field on Friday against Greenville at 7:00 p.m.

Roark Lewis continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his seventh-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least 101 rushing yards. He rushed for 157 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries, and also picked up 34 receiving yards.

On the year, Lewis has run in 9 touchdowns while averaging 147.3 rushing yards per game.

Greyson Brewer Delivers Best Effort of Season

On Friday, Southwestern had to settle for second even though Greyson Brewer put up the best numbers he has all season. Brewer picked up 105 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 95 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 56 yards.

For the year, Brewer has caught those 1 touchdown while averaging 23.7 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 4.86 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 48.71 rushing yards.

On Friday, Pana got the W thanks in part to Cayden Durbin playing the best football he has all season. Durbin rushed for 76 yards and two touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making nine total tackles.

On the season, Durbin has run in 3 touchdowns while averaging 20.4 rushing yards per game.

A Season-Best Effort from Cash Lynch Leads Pana over Gillespie

Cash Lynch produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Pana to the win on Friday. Lynch picked up 78 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.

Lynch and Pana will be playing at home against Litchfield/Mt. Olive at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will pit Lynch up against the 's star receiver Martavious Jones. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
