Wicksburg put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's seventh consecutive shutout on Monday. They never let Southside get on the board and left with a 22-0 victory. The result was nothing new for Wicksburg, who have now won 29 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Madelyn McVey, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Chloe Joyner, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Wicksburg kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in six consecutive games.

Wicksburg's win bumped their record up to 43-7. As for Southside, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8.

Wicksburg has already played their next contest, a 5-1 victory against Mobile Christian on the 5th. Southside does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
