Baseball Recap: West Point Takes a Loss

The West Point Warriors came up short against the Guntersville Wildcats on Monday, falling 16-1. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Point's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Guntersville, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Point will take on Decatur at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Guntersville, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Guntersville Wildcats challenge Grissom Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
