Shawnee Heights is a perfect 10-0 against Leavenworth since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Thunderbirds will face off against the PIONEERS. Leavenworth took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Shawnee Heights, who comes in off a win.

Shawnee Heights will bounce into Tuesday's match after beating Blue Valley Northwest, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Thunderbirds walked away with a 2-0 win over the Huskies on Thursday.

Shawnee Heights never let Blue Valley Northwest on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Leavenworth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Maranatha Christian Academy.

Leavenworth's defeat dropped their record down to 8-18. As for Shawnee Heights, the victory got them back to even at 12-12-1.

Shawnee Heights was able to grind out a solid win over Leavenworth in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Thunderbirds since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
