Great Plains Lutheran posted their biggest victory since January 25th on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 55-18 win over the Waubay/Summit Mustangs. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 24 points or more this season.

Great Plains Lutheran's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Myra Lentz, who went 8-for-12 from beyond the arc on her way to 24 points. Those 24 points gave Lentz a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Esta Cameron, who posted eight points along with six boards and four steals.

Great Plains Lutheran pushed their record up to 14-4 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.7 points over those games. As for Waubay/Summit, their loss dropped their record down to 10-9.

Great Plains Lutheran wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 54-43 defeat against Clark/Willow Lake on the 21st. As for Waubay/Summit, they will take on Tiospa Zina on Tuesday.
