Softball Recap: Reavis Rams vs. Argo Argonauts
It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Reavis ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged the Argo Argonauts out 8-7. The victory was some much needed relief for Reavis as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Sienna Aragones was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Gustafson, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4.
Reavis' win bumped their record up to 8-14. As for Argo, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-12.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Reavis will take on Kennedy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Kennedy will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something Reavis surely won't give up without a fight. As for Argo, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Bremen at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
