Football Recap: South Eugene Axe vs. Willamette Wolverines
South Eugene was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Willamette Wolverines 42-0. The Axe were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolverines apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

South Eugene will head out to square off against Crescent Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Willamette, they will challenge Eagle Point at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Willamette is facing Eagle Point at the right time seeing as Eagle Point is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
