Basketball Recap: Murrieta Valley Comes Up Short

Murrieta Valley lost against Laguna Hills back in December of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Nighthawks fell 80-69 to the Hawks.

Murrieta Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Laguna Hills, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Murrieta Valley will challenge St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Laguna Hills, they will head out to square off against Yorba Linda at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
